September School Events

8th – International Literacy Day

Also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival, this is a lovely opportunity to learn about Chinese traditions, mooncakes, and the importance of family and storytelling.

4th–10th – Space Week

A whole week to explore the wonders of space.

Perfect for science projects, stargazing activities, and sparking curiosity about the universe.

10th – World Mental Health Day

A day to talk openly about mental health and remind everyone that it's okay to ask for help.

A great time for wellbeing activities and kindness in school.

13th–20th – Recycle Week

A week to raise awareness about looking after our planet.

Students can get involved in reusing, reducing waste, and learning how recycling really works.

20th – Diwali

The festival of lights.

Diwali is a joyful time for learning about Hindu, Sikh, and Jain traditions through art, food, and colourful celebrations.

November School Events

5th – Guy Fawkes Night

Also known as Bonfire Night, this is a great chance to explore history through the Gunpowder Plot while learning about firework safety and British traditions.

11th – Remembrance Day

A day to reflect on the lives lost in wars and conflicts.

Schools often hold a two-minute silence and explore themes of peace, courage, and remembrance.

10th–14th – Anti-Bullying Week

25th – Christmas

A time of celebration, giving, and community.
